FPF is seeking a talented graduate for a one year position working as a Policy Fellow in the emerging area of privacy and data protection. Fellows are involved with leading edge work at the center of the privacy debates, and will work on issues ranging from mobile advertising and social media to the Smart Grid and identity management. The Fellow’s work will include drafting reports and briefs on emerging issues related to privacy and technology. The Fellow will have the unique opportunity to interact with leading senior figures in government, corporations, academia, advocacy groups and law firms.
Ideal candidate will excel in writing, editing, and have excellent verbal communication skills. Talent for taking initiative and working independently when needed. Internet-savvy and familiarity with scholarly writing are a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
- Masters/ LLM / MBA
- Excellent research and writing capabilities
- Strong interest/background in information technology
